Inuka hosts four major events each year bringing together our supporters, partners, schools and wider community to celebrate impact, raise vital funds and strengthen our shared commitment to Tanzania. Each event has its own unique energy and purpose, and we’d love for you to be part of them.
The Inuka Open
Held annually in March

The Inuka Open - Golf for Good is our signature charity golf day. A relaxed, community-driven event that brings together local businesses, supporters and friends for a day of friendly competition, connection, and purpose.

Funds raised support Inuka’s annual projects across education, safe water, and community programs in Arusha. Whether you’re a seasoned golfer or brand new to the sport, Golf for Good is all about showing up, having fun, and making a difference.
What's Your Climb?
Held annually in June

What’s Your Climb? is a global challenge encouraging individuals, teams, gyms, and schools to choose their own physical “mountain” - a 7, 15, or 30-day challenge to raise funds for Inuka’s work.

Inspired by our own climbs of Mt Meru and Mt Kilimanjaro, this event celebrates resilience, purpose, and community. Participants from across Australia and the world come together to push their limits while uplifting children in Tanzania.
Gratitude Gala
Held annually in November

The Gratitude Gala is Inuka’s biggest celebration of the year! An elegant evening highlighting our impact, honouring our community and raising funds for the year ahead.

Guests enjoy a beautiful night of storytelling, culture, dinner, and connection. The Gala is also where we share updates from the Cheti Schools, celebrate our partnerships, and ignite excitement for what’s next.
Taste of Tanzania
Held annually in December

Taste of Tanzania is a vibrant end-of-year celebration bringing together culture, community, and storytelling. Featuring East African-inspired cuisine and the premiere of our annual short film, this event offers a warm, intimate look into the journeys, people, and impact behind Inuka’s work.

It’s a heartfelt way to close the year, honour our volunteers and supporters, and share the stories that move us.
